Blueberry Delight

The spotlight of this healthy juice recipe is on the blueberries.

These tiny dark fruits rank high on the list of fruits and vegetables with the highest amounts of antioxidants. A few health benefits of blueberries include helping to lower blood pressure, keeping the heart healthy, and alleviating urinary tract infections.

And blueberries are also low in calories and high in yummies.

Blueberries are very versatile, and there are many ways you can start adding them to your diet.

You can eat them on their own, add them to your oatmeal breakfast or smoothies, put them in your salad or on your pancakes, make blueberry bread, blueberry cookies, or blueberry muffins. And, of course, you can add them to your juice.

Ingredients

Blueberries
2 ½ cups

Spinach
1 handful

Cucumber
1 medium

Lime
1 fruit

Beet
½ medium

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Peel the beet.
  2. Wash all the other ingredients thoroughly under running water.
  3. Chop all ingredients into a size that best works for your juicer.
  4. Feed everything into your juicer, alternating between soft and hard ingredients.
  5. Drink and enjoy the benefits.

Notes:

For full benefits, consume immediately or as soon as possible, but within 24 hours.
Store in an airtight glass bottle or jar and refrigerate.
