Tangerine Dream

I share many of my juice recipes on Instagram, but this recipe got the most appreciation. To tell you the truth, I created this juice recipe kinda by mistake. Here’s how.

I had bought these lovely-looking tangerines to eat as a snack. But as soon as I bit into the first one, I realized that they were not as sweet as I was hoping for them to be. Don’t you just hate it when that happens?

That’s the thing with fruits. You never know what they taste like, unless the store offers taste samples, of course.

So, instead of avoiding them until they go bad, I use them in my juice. For me, that’s the perfect way to use not-so-sweet fruits and not let them go to waste.

Ingredients

Tangerines
4 fruits

Carrots
7 medium

Cucumber
1 medium

Turmeric
2 thumb-size piece

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Peel the tangerines.
  2. Wash the remaining ingredients thoroughly under running water.
  3. Chop all ingredients into a size that best works for your juicer.
  4. Feed everything into your juicer, alternating between soft and hard ingredients.
  5. Drink and enjoy the benefits.

Notes:

For full benefits, consume immediately or as soon as possible, but within 24 hours.
Store in an airtight glass bottle or jar and refrigerate.
